Speaker Bio:

Born and raised in a small town in Utah, Chelsea grew up in the dirt, excelling in sports, and riding horses. The moments she was found indoors, she was playing school teacher with her stuffed animals, sometimes forcefully with her brother and cousins. Her love for education and children blossomed young and after a few years of hard work, she obtained a Bachelors Degree in Family Studies and recently a Masters Degree in Teaching and Elementary Education.

She's worked with children the second I was old enough to have a job—in daycares, homes, and hospitals, landing herself in the classroom. There she holds 6 years of experience working in Behavioral and Special Education as well as teaching Second Grade.

In the mix of her journey to become a licensed educator, she spent some of her most favorite 18 months serving a mission in Cincinnati, Ohio where her testimony of the gospel found strong roots. It prepared her for some of her greatest trials, biggest milestones, and many hours of imperfect but faithful service in the church.

Nowadays, you can still find her in the great outdoors enjoying God’s beautiful creations with my amazing husband and baby boy anticipating her little one on the way. Instead of teaching stuffed animals about simple addition, she's educating others about her source of hope, healing, and joy—Jesus Christ. She's doing it in fun and creative ways and sharing all those ideas for you to pass along to the littles you treasure most!
